Description Blue Grass Lily Agrostocrinum scabrum A small tufted plant with narrow grass-like leaves to 50cm long. A profusion of blue star-like flowers, about 2.5cm (1 inch) in diameter, are borne on slender stems through spring and summer. This plant is adaptable to most soils and can be grown in full sun to part shade. It is an ideal plant for rockeries or mass plantings for effect. Propagation of this plant requires smoke treatment which is the simple process of sprinkling treated vermiculite over the sown seeds. Smoke treatment is available in my store.
