It is a premium, artisanal Italian cake produced in Treviso (near Venice) since 1964, renowned for its long, 48-hour natural fermentation process. Made with a proprietary “mother yeast” (sourdough starter) the panettone is characterized by an airy, light, and fluffy texture. Made with Italian free-range eggs. Each bite of this artisanal delight bursts with the rich flavors of luscious chocolate chips, all nestled within a soft, airy dough which is exceptionally moist & has “cake-like” texture.
