DescriptionMario Ravanal first bought the vineyard now known as “Viña Ravanal” in 1965. It is located in the Colchagua Valley, in Chile, and is one of the oldest wineries in the region. The vines that were already established there came with the invaluable heritage of already being over 100 years old. Later, his sons joined his path and became oenologists in their own right, bringing youth, strength and innovation to the vineyard. The age of the vines combined with the incomparable terroir and microclimate of the Colchagua Valley allow the grapes to develop and mature, creating truly exceptional wines.Their process includes careful manual harvesting and selection, use of advanced technologies, as well as maturation in French and American oak barrels. The result is sophisticated wines with complexity, elegance and intense aromas.
