DescriptionBenromach comes from a family owned distillery in Forres, Speyside, Scotland. The distillery was originally built in 1898 and after a period of closure for restoration and renovation by the current owners, it was reopened in 1998 by Prince Charles. They have stuck to their roots creating a style of whisky once prevalent across Speyside namely rich, single malts, handcrafted with a delicate hint of smoke. The spirit is matured in oak casks that have been seasoned with bourbon or Sherry, which imparts a lot of the flavour, complexity and character.
